Developing a Mental Health Court: An Interdisciplinary Curriculum is a free online multimedia curriculum for individuals and teams seeking to start, maintain, or learn about mental health courts.

Developed by the Council of State Governments Justice Center with the support of the Bureau of Justice Assistance, it is the first single resource with the information teams need to translate current research on mental health courts into program design and operation.

The curriculum can be accessed HERE and is useful for many practitioners, including:

  • Probation, pretrial, and law enforcement officers
  • Prosecutors and defense attorneys
  • Court managers
  • State judicial educators
  • Mental health and substance use treatment providers and administrators
