Thriving in the New DMC Managed Care Collaborative is a six-month collaborative. By enrolling in the collaborative, you are committing to participating in the following activities.
By joining the Thriving in the New Managed Care Learning Collaborative, you commit to participating in a two-day workshop. You will select a team of three from your organization to participate.*
*If your agency is small and/or you do not have dedicated staff in each of these areas, two people from the agency may participate, at a minimum. For more information about who should participate, click here.
After the kickoff training, with support from your coach, you and your team will work on making changes in your organization using the tools and strategies you learned during the two-day workshop. In the six months following the workshop, you will refine and complete your change project.
Coaching Conference Calls
In the months following the workshop, you’ll participate in follow-up coaching calls. The first will take place after you’ve completed two to three weeks of change project work. You and your coach will schedule these to meet your availability. With support from your coach, you and your team will work on making changes in your organization using the tools and strategies you learned during the two-day workshop.
Two Learning Sessions
In addition to participating in the two-day workshop, you will also be expected to participate in two all-day learning sessions. The date and locations of these workshops, once determined, will be posted to our Schedule of Activities Page.
You will be invited to participate in All Participant Webinars which will address topics that are relevant to the collaborative participants.
Since there is no fee to participate in the Collaborative, there is no financial penalty. However, if you do decide to cancel your participation after registering, PLEASE contact Kim Waterman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Substitutions are allowed! If one of your team members is not able to participate, please substitute another individual.
