Promising and Effective Practices Network (PEPNet)

PEPNet is a system and information source based on practice and research for identifying and promoting what works in youth employment and development. The PEPNet criteria is used to measure the effectiveness of agency programs in the field. Organizations/initiatives can complete an extensive self-assessment and application for recognition as promising practices. A group of professional peers review the applications and award organizations for fulfilling all PEPNet criteria. Each of the awardee organizations are posted on their website and publicly recognized.PEPNet is a project of NYEC (see listing). The PEPNet section of the website has a comprehensive search engine and data base filled with all the practices of the PEPNet awardees. The database allows you to search by organization or particular criterion.
