Informed by CIBHS’s long-standing history of developing and supporting program performance and outcome evaluation for evidence-based practices in children’s services, the Treat-to-Target project extends these principles and activities to the delivery of usual care services.
The framework supports routine data collection for use at multiple levels, including individual client and family, program, agency and countywide. A “palette” of clinically relevant and psychometrically sound measures is available to support treatment planning, quality improvement and outcome evaluation.
Project participants may be county agencies or community-based organizations; and, each decides which measures they will use from the “palette”, as well as other key aspects of their participation. One of the benefits of participation in the Treat-to-Target project is the attainment of consistency in measurement across agencies and providers.
