Mental Health and Well-being

CIBHS strengthens mental health and well-being by partnering with communities to build equitable, effective systems of care grounded in evidence, lived experience, and scalable implementation models.

Enhancing Access to Comprehensive and Quality Mental Healthcare

We advance mental health and well-being by developing the integrated systems, professional workforce, and strategic partnerships that support resilient communities everywhere. Through training, technical assistance, convening, and policy-informed practice, we work with behavioral health providers, counties, and community partners to design and implement services that are effective, culturally responsive, and grounded in both evidence-based and community-defined practices.

Centered on collaboration and equity, our work is shaped by lived experience and local context. We partner with communities to reduce barriers to care, build workforce and organizational capacity, and promote prevention, resilience, and whole-person well-being across the lifespan.
